The maximum applicable size of the test specimen is 100mm in width and 150mm in length.

This is a robust device designed to determine how the elasticity, adhesion, and elongation of a coating film are affected by bending. The main frame is equipped with a handle and a height-adjustable roller. The sample is fixed in a vice-like slide and is completely bent along the outer diameter of the mandrel. Cylindrical Mandrel Bending Tester

By bending the coating along the mandrel, we check for cracks and peeling.

This is a testing device for evaluating the flexibility of coatings. It checks the resistance to cracking and delamination from the metal substrate when the coating is bent by a mandrel. According to JIS standards, there are two types: Type 1 and Type 2, and this product corresponds to Type 2. It is considered a suitable testing device for test plates with a thickness of up to 1mm. It is also used for evaluating the flexibility of hard coatings on films. For the standard size of 7mm width (056-1), the 100mm width type (056-70) corresponds to the frequently used test piece size of 70x150mm.
